Option(s)

Starting with the -J series, CHIMU rate sensors are temperature calibrated by default. However, there are a three options for the latest CHIMU-J units, described here:

• Basic:
  • Unit should be calibrated (accelerometers and magnetometers) by user for precise operation(see manual for instructions).
    • USB Node recommended for easy calibation
  • Primary connector has SPI/UART. Secondary connector does not have the SPI Clock signal routed. In its place is a reset line.

• Calibrated
  • Unit is calibrated prior to shipment on all sensors
  • Magnetic declination / inclination programmed for user location (provide at purchase, or shipping destiation will be used)
  • Primary connector has SPI/UART. Secondary connector does not have the SPI Clock signal routed. In its place is a reset line.

• Calibrated w/ alternate SPI
  • Unit is calibrated per above description
  • Secondary connector has all SPI pins output, allowing communication via SPI on this interface as well as the main pin connector.

Legacy product
