Power Node

The Power Node is an extremely efficient switching power supply module with a scaled output signal to allow battery monitoring with a 3.3V referenced ADC.

· Voltage input range:  6 to 36V

· Voltage output: 5V

· Current max:  2A output

 

 

· Standard 2 pin JST input voltage connector

· Two (2) identical output connectors compatible with typical servo motor connectors

· Pin 1: Battery Voltage Monitor (scaled for 3.3V ADC inputs)

· Pin 2: Power (5V)

· Pin 3: Ground

 

 

NOTE:  There is a 2A slow-blow fuse on the updated (2010) Power Node

Power Node

Use this unit to provide stable 5V power to Monkey, CHIMU or other applications.

The battery voltage output is scaled to output 0.117 * Vbattery.  For voltages up to 28 volts, this results in an output signal less than 3.3V.

For voltage inputs above 28V (up to 36V), be aware that the signal output will reach a maximum of 4.25V at the maximum input.
